tub or shower upgrade!
Check out this tub to walk-in-shower conversion in Covington, VA. We helped this client by optimizing their showering experience while also making it much more visually pleasing.
The Features
This tub to walk-in-shower conversion showcases a white shower pan paired with a Tuscany-style smooth three-wall system, complete with a built-in niche and matching bench seat. To enhance both safety and convenience, we installed two grab bars, a Gabrylly rain shower head with a handheld, and a Euro-style sliding clear glass door. Each of these thoughtfully selected features comes together seamlessly to create the ultimate showering experience.
Improved Comfort
Designed with comfort in mind, this walk-in shower offers a more relaxing and accessible experience. The strategically placed grab bars provide added stability, making every movement safer and more secure. The matching bench seat adds an extra layer of convenience, allowing for a more comfortable and leisurely shower. The Euro-style sliding glass door glides effortlessly, eliminating the need for heavy lifting or awkward maneuvering.
Water Efficiency
Switching from a tub to a walk-in shower offers significant water efficiency benefits. Traditional bathtubs can use up to 70 gallons of water per bath, while a shower typically uses only 10 to 25 gallons, depending on the length and flow rate. With a well-designed shower system, water consumption is reduced without sacrificing performance. Features like low-flow showerheads optimize pressure while using less water, helping to conserve resources and lower utility costs. By making the switch, you not only enjoy a more convenient bathing experience but also contribute to a more sustainable household.
