tub or shower upgrade!
Bath Planet SW Virginia transformed a traditional bathroom in Forest with a tub-to-shower conversion. The goal was to improve functionality and accessibility while creating a modern, stylish space. This project focused on combining practical features with an updated aesthetic to enhance the overall bathroom experience.
The Installation Process: Practical Design Meets Style
First, the existing tub was removed to make room for a standard shower system. A 60×32 RHD shower pan in Biscuit was installed, providing a clean and comfortable base for the new shower. Next, the team added a 3-wall Biscuit acrylic wall system. The walls are tall, offering an open and modern feel, but they do not extend all the way to the ceiling, which maintains a sense of height and openness. To complete the installation, a Delta 17 Standard Shower Head and Valve in Brushed Nickel was added, giving the shower adjustable water flow and a contemporary look. Safety and accessibility were addressed with a 24-inch grab bar, ensuring the shower is easy to use for all family members.
The Benefits of the New Shower
This tub-to-shower conversion combines safety, style, and convenience. The Biscuit acrylic walls and shower pan create a bright and inviting space. The Delta 17 shower system in Brushed Nickel provides a reliable and functional water flow, while the grab bar enhances safety and accessibility. The materials and design were selected to ensure durability and low maintenance, making the shower a practical long-term solution.
Why Choose This Tub-to-Shower Conversion?
This project is ideal for homeowners looking to replace a traditional tub with a modern, accessible shower. By combining high-quality materials, thoughtful design, and practical features, the conversion improves both comfort and functionality. Bath Planet SW Virginia ensures that each installation meets the specific needs of the home while delivering a stylish, long-lasting result.
