By combining a durable shower base, smooth wall system, modern plumbing fixtures, and upgraded bathroom elements, this master bath now offers a comfortable, practical layout that looks polished and feels simple to maintain.
The Project: Refreshing a Busy Master Bathroom
The project started in the master bathroom, where the existing shower and finishes no longer matched the homeowners’ needs. Bath Planet SW Virginia removed the old shower and prepared the area for a new standard shower system. The team focused on creating a layout that would hold up to daily use while still looking clean and inviting. Because the homeowners also wanted an updated overall look, the plan included new flooring plus installation of their customer supplied vanity, toilet, faucet, and mirror.
The Shower Installation: Clean Lines and Reliable Fixtures
Next, the crew installed a 51×38 LHD standard shower base in White to create a sturdy, low maintenance foundation. They followed this with a smooth White three wall system that gives the shower a bright, modern appearance and makes cleaning much easier. For plumbing, the team installed a Delta 17 Series shower valve paired with a standard Delta shower head in Brushed Nickel. This setup provides dependable water control and a consistent, comfortable shower experience while adding a touch of modern style.
Added Safety, Storage, and Everyday Comfort
To improve daily comfort and organization, Bath Planet SW Virginia included a combination of functional accessories. A straight Brushed Nickel shower rod keeps the curtain neatly in place and complements the other fixtures. Inside the shower, the team installed a White single shelf and a White corner shelf to hold soaps, shampoos, and other daily essentials within easy reach. For added stability, they also installed a 24 inch Brushed Nickel grab bar. This feature offers extra support while entering and exiting the shower and gives the homeowners more confidence as they move around the space.
