A: Your Care and Maintenance instructions are listed on your contract. We have added them below for your convenience.
For normal everyday cleaning, we suggest the use of a mild soap and water with a soft washcloth. Do not use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners as they will dull the surface over time and may void your warranty. Should you wish to use a product not listed below, test on a small area in the corner of the skirt or pan. Always review individual cleaners’ instructions. Always rinse thoroughly after cleaning.
RECOMMENDED CLEANER FOR ACRYLIC AND GLASS is 1 quart water, 3 tablespoons Dawn, 1 cup white vinegar. Pour the recommended cleaning solution onto a Teflon-approved sponge (such as 3M) and rub onto the acrylic and/or glass surfaces. Do not scrub. Rinse with water then squeegee or towel dry using a microfiber towel. FOR CLEANING OF SEALANT, a 50/50 solution of bleach and water in a spray bottle can be used. Wipe gently with a sponge or old, soft toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly.
OTHER USABLE CLEANERS, AS NEEDED, include BCI Eliminate, Microban 24, Formula 409, Wet & Forget Shower, Clorox+Tilex Mold and Mildew, Simple Green, and diluted bleach (1/2 cup Bleach per 1 gallon of water). Rinse thoroughly after every cleaning.
DO NOT USE: Soft Scrub, Scrub Free, Scrubbing Bubbles, Clean Shower, Lysol, Lestoil, Fantastik, Dow disinfectant cleaner, nail polish remover, Acetone, Ammonia or products containing Ammonium, any aerosol product, or straight/undiluted Dawn. Do not use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners as they will dull the surface over time and may void your warranty.
DRAIN CLEANERS SHOULD BE USED SPARINGLY. Liquid drain cleaners are recommended over powders and/or crystal. Remove the standing water from the bathtub and remove the drain plug. Use a funnel to prevent spills and apply the chemicals directly down the drain. Always make certain that chemicals do not come in contact with the acrylic surface.
NOTE: Silicone is resistant to paint.
