Radford, VA Bathroom Renovation
When these Radford, VA homeowners decided it was time to update their outdated bathroom, Bath Planet SWVA helped completely reimagine the space. What was once a congested floor plan with a cramped stall shower was transformed into an open, updated bathroom centered around a spacious and accessible walk-in shower.
A More Open & Accessible Walk-In Shower
Creating the new layout required more than simply replacing the existing shower. Bath Planet SWVA removed a wall and completely flipped the location of the shower, opening up the floor plan and making room for a full 60-inch solid surface shower pan.
The new walk-in shower features smooth white acrylic walls with matching corner shelves, a window trim kit, and a white folding bench seat for added comfort and accessibility. Brushed nickel fixtures include a rain shower head, trim kit, handheld shower on a slider bar, and grab bars to create a shower that is both stylish and designed with safety in mind. A clear glass Euro slider door completes the space while helping maintain the bathroom’s new open feel.
A Complete Bathroom Transformation
The renovation extended beyond the shower area. With the new layout in place, the bathroom also received a new toilet and new flooring. The walls were finished and prepared for paint, giving the homeowners a clean slate to put their own finishing touch on the newly updated space.
By removing a wall, reconfiguring the layout, and replacing the cramped stall shower with a spacious walk-in shower, Bath Planet SWVA transformed this Radford, VA bathroom into a more open, functional, and totally safe space built for everyday use.
