Forest, VA Shower Remodel

This recent Forest, VA, shower renovation transformed an outdated tiled walk-in shower into a beautiful, modern wet area. The new design features smooth travertine-colored acrylic walls, oil-rubbed bronze fixtures, and a custom glass enclosure.

A Complete Walk-In Shower Transformation

The renovation began with the complete removal of the existing tile shower. We replaced the old tile with smooth travertine-colored acrylic wall panels. The warm, natural stone-inspired finish gives the shower an elegant appearance. It also provides the easy maintenance of an acrylic wall system.

To complete the new shower, we installed a coordinating acrylic shower pan and matching trim. A built-in bench seat adds comfort and convenience. Matching corner shelves provide practical storage without disrupting the clean design. Together, these features create a cohesive look throughout the entire shower.

Elegant Oil-Rubbed Bronze Fixtures

The homeowners selected oil-rubbed bronze fixtures to complement the warm travertine color. This rich finish adds contrast while giving the shower a timeless, sophisticated appearance.

The new fixture package includes a coordinating trim kit and shower head. A handheld shower head mounted on a slider bar provides added flexibility and convenience. Matching oil-rubbed bronze grab bars complete the setup offering practical support while blending seamlessly with the overall design.

A Custom Glass Enclosure

The final touch was a custom glass enclosure designed specifically for this shower. A full-size glass panel runs vertical on the left side connecting to another glass panel that sits atop a half wall. While the door pivots off the fixture wall sealing off the wet area.

This custom configuration gives the shower a spacious, open feel. It also allows the travertine walls and bronze fixtures to remain the focal points. The result is a polished finish that brings the entire renovation together.

A Dream Shower, Built for Everyday Living

This Forest, VA, shower renovation combines elegant finishes with practical features designed for everyday use. The travertine-colored acrylic walls pair beautifully with the rich oil-rubbed bronze fixtures. Meanwhile, the custom glass enclosure adds a sleek, modern touch.

With a matching acrylic shower pan, built-in bench, convenient corner shelves, and coordinating grab bars, every detail serves a purpose. What began as an outdated tiled shower is now a stunning, functional wet area. It’s a beautiful transformation that the homeowners can enjoy for years to come.
