The Installation Process: Clean Design with Everyday Comfort in Mind
First, the team removed the previous shower to prepare the area for a new standard shower system. Then they installed a 60×36 LHD White shower base, which provides a crisp, bright foundation. Next, they added a smooth White three wall system. This created a fresh, timeless look that is easy to clean and maintain.
To complete the system, the team installed a Delta 17 Standard Shower Head and Valve in a Chrome finish. This setup gives the homeowner reliable water control. For added convenience, they also included a separate handheld shower head on a slider bar. This feature makes it simple to adjust and direct the water flow. In addition, an extra clip near the seat location holds the handheld shower in place and supports easier access.
Enhanced Accessibility for Daily Confidence
Accessibility and safety were key goals for this project. To support those goals, Bath Planet SW Virginia installed two 18 inch grab bars in a matching Chrome finish. These bars provide secure support when entering, exiting, or moving inside the shower. The design features smooth Brecchia acrylic wall panels, matching border trim, built-in shelves, and a beige folding seat with a black metal frame for comfort and convenience. Oil rubbed bronze fixtures throughout—including grab bars, a handheld shower head on a slider bar, rain shower head, diverter valve, and trim kit—complete the space with a modern, accessible finish.
