This basement bathroom installation in Salem, VA, transformed an unfinished space into a stylish, functional bathroom. The project included the construction of a new bathroom shell, installation of a custom shower system, and modern design choices for a clean, low-maintenance look.
Installation Overview
The project began with framing a new 10×8 bathroom shell, including drywall and plaster work to prep for painting. The ceiling was left open for the homeowners to add custom metal ceiling panels. A full wall was constructed on the right side of the shower for added structure.
A 60×48 right-hand drain white shower pan was installed as part of the Standard Shower System, paired with a 3-wall system in white with black laser-etched oblong patterns that extend to the ceiling, creating a sleek, modern look.
Design and Customization
The addition of the metal ceiling panels and black laser-etched wall patterns brings a unique, contemporary style to the bathroom, while the white walls and standard shower system ensure durability and easy maintenance.
