The homeowner wanted a space that was modern, low-maintenance, and comfortable — and our team at Bath Planet SW Virginia delivered a complete transformation that checked every box.
Acrylic Walk-In Shower with Travertine Walls
Flooring, Fixtures & Finishing Touches
To complete the remodel, the bathroom received brand-new luxury vinyl tile flooring — 44 square feet total — chosen for both its appearance and performance. We installed a white elongated, extra-tall toilet and a new 20×17 white sink, along with a 4” Oil Rubbed Bronze vanity faucet that ties in with the rest of the finishes. A customer-provided light fixture was also mounted above the mirror to bring a warm, cohesive touch to the room.
Safety and Comfort Built In
Safety features were an important part of this remodel. We installed both 12″ and 24″ grab bars in Oil Rubbed Bronze, offering extra stability and peace of mind. The new shower also includes two smooth Travertine corner shelves for convenient storage. A Delta 17 valve and matching shower head — also in Oil Rubbed Bronze — complete the space, blending safety with everyday comfort and reliability.

Bath Planet SWVA recently transformed a bathroom in Lynchburg, VA by replacing an old fiberglass tub with a beautiful new walk-in shower. The shower features Roman Stone acrylic walls with a Fairfield design, along with matching acrylic shelves for convenient storage. Brushed nickel fixtures include a Delta trim kit, handheld shower wand with slider bar, grab bars, foot peg, and a large ceiling-mounted rain shower head. A glass sliding shower door with matching brushed nickel hardware completes the update, creating a clean, modern space that is both stylish and easy to enjoy every day.
Altavista Tub to Shower Conversion
Bath Planet SWVA recently converted tub to shower in Altavista, VA, with a fresh, modern design featuring elegant Silver White Marble wall panels. The new shower setup includes color-matched Silver White Marble corner shelves for seamless storage and a full set of chrome fixtures, including a Gabrylly rain shower head, wand with siider bar, and frosted glass shower door for added comfort and privacy. To complete the bathroom transformation, a new specialty toilet was creating a bright, functional space with a clean contemporary finish.
