Oversized Brecchia Walk-In Shower Transformation
This Blacksburg, VA bathroom was ready for a complete transformation. The outdated space featured a large soaker tub and a small, enclosed shower that no longer matched the homeowners’ needs. They wanted to open up the bathroom with a larger, more functional shower designed for comfort and everyday use.
From Oversized Tub to Spacious Walk-In Design
Our team removed the existing soaker tub and demolished the outdated shower area. We replaced the old layout with an impressive 6-foot-wide walk-in shower featuring our signature acrylic systems.
The homeowners selected smooth Brecchia acrylic wall panels for a clean, modern appearance. A matching decorative border trim was added around chest height to create a finished, custom look. Matching built-in shelves provide convenient storage while keeping the shower organized and clutter-free.
To add both comfort and accessibility, we installed a beige folding shower seat with a sleek black metal frame. The combination of style and function creates a shower space designed for years of enjoyment.
Oil Rubbed Bronze Fixtures & Custom Glass Enclosure
The homeowners completed the design with oil rubbed bronze fixtures throughout the shower. The upgraded fixture package includes grab bars for added stability, a handheld shower head on an adjustable slider bar, a relaxing rain shower head, and a diverter valve with matching trim kit.
A large euro-style sliding glass door system finished the transformation. The clear glass panels and matching oil rubbed bronze frame allow the new shower design to stand out while creating an open, spacious feel.
