Take a look at this sleek Standard Shower System installation, where Bath Planet SW Virginia transformed a dated bathroom into a clean, functional, and modern shower space. The 60″ x 34″ left-hand drain white acrylic shower base and matching full-height acrylic walls create a crisp, bright backdrop that instantly freshens up the room.
A Modern Shower Designed for Everyday Comfort
We installed a full acrylic wall system to the ceiling, creating a sleek, seamless look with no grout lines to scrub. The smooth, high-gloss surface reflects light beautifully, brightening the space and making it feel open and airy. The homeowner chose a Delta 17 standard shower head and valve in a polished chrome finish, offering both durability and timeless style. For added versatility, we included a Speakman handheld shower head in chrome, perfect for everything from daily use to rinsing the shower after cleaning.
Durability and Low Maintenance for Years to Come
The acrylic wall and base system is mold- and mildew-resistant, meaning less scrubbing and more time enjoying the bathroom. Acrylic is also non-porous, so it won’t absorb moisture or stains, keeping the shower looking new for years with minimal upkeep. With chrome fixtures that resist tarnish and water spots, the homeowner can expect a sparkling, fresh look without the constant polishing required by some finishes.
How this Upgrade Adds Lasting Value
A modern shower like this not only improves the homeowner’s daily routine but also boosts resale appeal. Buyers appreciate a bright, updated bathroom with safety features and easy-to-maintain surfaces — making this an investment in both comfort and home value.
