Christiansburg, VA Walk-In Shower Transformation
This Christiansburg, VA bathroom was ready for a fresh start. The homeowners wanted to replace their outdated fiberglass tub and shower unit with a modern walk-in shower that would make the space feel more open, beautiful, and functional for everyday use.
Our team removed the old fiberglass unit and completely transformed the space into a stunning walk-in shower that serves as the centerpiece of the bathroom.
Replacing an Outdated Fiberglass Tub with a Modern Walk-In Shower
The original fiberglass tub and shower had become dated and no longer fit the homeowners’ style or needs. By removing the bulky tub unit, we were able to create a spacious walk-in shower that immediately opened up the room and provided a clean, contemporary look.
The homeowners selected our elegant Linen acrylic wall system, beautifully etched with the Fairfield design, creating a timeless appearance that extends all the way to the ceiling for a seamless, high-end finish. A bright white acrylic shower pan completes the foundation, delivering a durable, low-maintenance surface built to last.
Matte Black Fixtures & Functional Upgrades
To complement the crisp white shower, the homeowners chose a collection of fixtures that add striking contrast and modern style throughout the space.
The shower includes a custom white recessed niche for convenient storage, a folding shower seat featuring white composite slats with a matte black frame, a matte black trim kit, handheld shower head, grab bar, and matching shower rod. Every detail was selected to blend functionality with a sleek, cohesive design.
A Beautiful Shower Built for Everyday Living
This Christiansburg shower installation is the perfect example of how replacing an outdated tub can completely transform a bathroom. The finished walk-in shower feels bright, spacious, and inviting while offering the durability and easy maintenance of premium acrylic materials.
With its floor-to-ceiling Fairfield-pattern walls, modern matte black finishes, and thoughtful accessibility features, this new walk-in shower provides the homeowners with a beautiful, functional space they’ll enjoy for many years to come.
