Forest Bathroom Upgrade Featuring a Modern Walk-In Shower Design
A homeowner in Forest, VA chose Bath Planet Southwest Virginia to completely rethink their outdated shower space, opting for a design that balances clean aesthetics with everyday practicality. The result is a sleek walk-in shower that feels open, contemporary, and purpose-built for comfort, safety, and long-term performance.
A Bold, Modern Foundation
The transformation begins with Galena acrylic wall panels that wrap the enclosure in a smooth, seamless finish. These grout-free surfaces are engineered to resist moisture and staining, dramatically reducing upkeep while maintaining a crisp, polished look. Their consistent tone creates a unified backdrop that lets the shower’s darker accents stand out.
Matching corner shelves were integrated directly into the layout, offering convenient storage without disrupting the streamlined appearance. By keeping everything built in and color coordinated, the space remains tidy and visually cohesive.
Striking Fixtures with Enhanced Function
Matte black hardware establishes a strong contemporary presence and anchors the overall design. At the center of the system is a Gabrylly rain shower head, delivering wide, even coverage for a relaxing, spa-like experience. A handheld sprayer mounted on a slide bar adds versatility, making it easy to adjust height or switch between functions for rinsing, cleaning, or targeted use.
Together, these components combine visual impact with day-to-day convenience.
Designed for Comfort and Safety
Practical features were thoughtfully layered into the build to support users of all ages and mobility levels. A fold-down seat with a white frame and durable black composite surface provides a stable resting spot while folding neatly away when not needed. An extra-wide grab bar spans the back wall, offering dependable support and added confidence without compromising the clean design.
These additions make the shower both comfortable and future-ready.
