Lexington, VA Oversized Shower Upgrade
Bath Planet SWVA recently completed a stunning oversized shower transformation in Lexington, VA, creating a bathroom space that feels elevated, functional, and undeniably luxurious. Designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding bathroom aesthetic, this new shower installation delivers both everyday comfort and upscale visual appeal.
Spacious Oversized Shower Design
This project centered around the installation of an oversized shower that instantly made the bathroom feel more open and refined. The expanded layout provides generous room for movement and comfort, turning the shower into a relaxing retreat rather than simply a functional necessity. Its larger footprint enhances both accessibility and the overall flow of the bathroom.
Calcutta Acrylic Wall System
The shower features elegant Calcutta acrylic wall panels that bring a bright, marble-inspired sophistication to the space. The smooth, grout-free finish offers the upscale look of natural stone while remaining exceptionally easy to maintain. Resistant to mold, mildew, and staining, the acrylic walls provide long-term durability without sacrificing style. Their light reflective finish helps amplify the room’s brightness, contributing to the luxurious atmosphere.
Matte Black Fixtures and Safety Features
A bold matte black fixture package adds dramatic contrast and modern elegance throughout the shower. Matte black grab bars were strategically installed to provide enhanced safety and stability while integrating beautifully into the overall design. Matching matte black trim and hardware create a cohesive, designer-inspired finish that feels both contemporary and timeless.
Coordinated Matte Black Shower Rod
To complete the look, a matte black shower rod was installed, tying together all of the shower’s design elements. This subtle but impactful detail reinforces the room’s cohesive aesthetic and adds to the sophisticated visual flow of the bathroom.
A Luxurious, Seamless Bathroom Finish
One of the standout features of this Lexington upgrade is how naturally the new oversized shower blends with the rest of the bathroom. The combination of Calcutta acrylic walls and matte black accents creates a rich, high-end look that complements the existing space beautifully. The result is a bathroom that feels polished, intentional, and spa-like—delivering a luxurious vibe the homeowners can enjoy every day.
