Bath Planet SW Virginia recently completed a full bathroom renovation in Bedford, delivering a striking new shower space designed to enhance everyday comfort, functionality, and visual appeal. This project was a true transformation, combining premium materials with thoughtful design features to create a modern, spa-inspired environment that adds both beauty and long-term value to the home.
Project Overview: A Complete Bathroom Refresh
The outdated bathing area was fully removed and replaced with a custom walk-in shower system. Stunning Galena wall panels were installed to bring rich texture and a high-end look to the space while providing superior durability and moisture protection. A brushed nickel Gabrylly shower system anchors the design, featuring a luxury rain shower head and a handheld sprayer mounted on an adjustable slider bar, offering versatility for both relaxation and daily use.
Comfort and accessibility were carefully integrated with a stylish fold-down seat, a well-placed grab bar, and a built-in niche that provides convenient, clutter-free storage. The shower is finished with a beautiful sliding glass door that enhances the open feel of the room and completes the sleek, modern aesthetic.
In addition to the shower, the entire bathroom was upgraded with new flooring, a new toilet, and a recessed can light, bringing improved performance, brighter illumination, and a cohesive, updated appearance to the whole space.
Key Features and Functional Improvements
This bathroom remodel unites elegance and practicality into one cohesive design. The Galena wall system delivers a bold, upscale appearance while remaining easy to maintain. The Gabrylly rain head and handheld shower system enhance the daily routine with customizable water flow and improved comfort. The fold-down seat, grab bar, and integrated niche add convenience, organization, and safety without compromising style.
The updated flooring, modern toilet, and new overhead lighting further elevate the space, making the bathroom feel more open, inviting, and efficient.
Designed for Comfort, Style, and Longevity
This upgrade is ideal for homeowners looking to completely modernize their bathroom while investing in long-lasting materials and smart design.
