Take a look at this bathroom remodel in Blue Ridge, VA, where our team removed an outdated garden tub and gave the existing shower a full makeover with an expanded entry. The homeowners wanted a sleek and functional shower system that offered both style and convenience, and the results speak for themselves.
Replacement and Design
The project began with the complete removal of the old built-in tub. This opened the space for a beautiful stone-look tile entry area leading into the new shower. We installed a standard 60″x38″ white shower pan. It was paired with a gorgeous 3-wall system in white with gray grout. Elegant 6×24 tiles extend all the way to the ceiling, creating a clean, modern aesthetic.
The ceiling panel was finished in smooth white for a seamless look. In addition, we built a custom knee wall capped in white and painted on the exterior. This feature adds both structural definition and visual interest. The shower valve was installed in the knee wall for easy access, as requested by the homeowners.
For a luxurious touch, the shower includes a chrome Delta 17 valve system. It features a rainfall showerhead and a separate handheld shower on a sliding diverter. These upgrades offer both spa-like comfort and everyday practicality.
