Take a look at this premium Walk-In Tub Installation in Troutville, VA, where Bath Planet SW Virginia transformed a standard bathtub setup into a luxurious and accessible bathing space. The homeowners wanted a solution that would enhance comfort, functionality, and safety while adding a touch of spa-like relaxation to their bathroom. The project included a high-end walk-in tub system with customized features and a beautifully designed wall system, creating a modern and inviting retreat.
Installation Process: From Standard Bath to Walk-In Tub
The project began with plumbing modifications, requiring the relocation of the system from the right to the left side on a concrete foundation. Once prepped, our team installed the LHD White Alexis Walk-In Tub with Jets, complete with chrome fixtures for a sleek finish. The tub was customized with a retractable handheld shower on the deck and a dedicated control for a rain showerhead, giving the homeowners versatility and luxury in their daily routine. To complete the space, we installed a 3-wall system in Smooth Calcutta Acrylic, offering a durable, easy-to-clean surface with the elegant look of marble. A Delta 17 valve with chrome rain showerhead was added for overhead showering, while an 18-inch grab bar provided extra safety and stability.
Benefits of the Walk-In Tub System
This walk-in tub installation delivers the perfect balance of relaxation and practicality. The built-in jets create a soothing hydrotherapy experience, ideal for easing muscle tension and promoting wellness. With its ergonomic design, retractable handheld shower, and rain showerhead, the tub offers unmatched convenience and comfort. The Smooth Calcutta walls add timeless style while ensuring durability and low maintenance. Safety features such as the grab bar make the bathroom more accessible, supporting aging-in-place without sacrificing elegance.

With its low threshold entry, integrated seating, and therapeutic features, it provides peace of mind and a spa-like experience right at home.
