Major Penhook Remodel

This remodel was a total overhaul.  We replaced everything from the floor up, including installation of a zero entry shower and replacing the garden tub with a stand alone soaker tub.

It Starts with the Flooring

They replaced their dated floor covering with luxury vinyl tile (LVT).  It gives them the look of stone tile, but it’s much more durable. It’s the perfect bathroom flooring since it’s water resistant, but it doesn’t chip or crack as easily as stone tile.  Some customers also say that is doesn’t feel as cold to the touch as stone tile.

Updated Shower

The updated shower includes a zero entry and grab bars to offer the flexibility to age in place.  The dated tile was replaced with smooth silver white marble–no more grout to clean and maintain!  The rain glass shower door allows more light to enter the shower for a light, airy feel.  The folding shower seat adds another level of functionality, as does a Gabbrylly rain shower head with a handheld and slider bar.  Everything is trimmed out in modern brushed nickel finish.  A niche adds functionality with additional storage space.

Updated Tub

The dated garden tub is replaced with a stylish standalone soaker tub.  This meant moving the plumbing to open up the floorspace to add to that open, roomy feel.

Don’t Forget the Vanity

Finally, the customer asked us to repace the existing vanity and medicine cabinets with ones that they provided.  This definitely completed the look!
