These Radford, VA homeowners were ready to replace their outdated fiberglass shower stall with a cleaner, more functional design. They chose a new Bath Planet acrylic shower system with classic finishes, practical storage, and added comfort. The result is a fresh, updated shower designed for everyday use.
From Fiberglass Shower to Acrylic System
The project began with the removal of the existing fiberglass shower stall. In its place, we installed a new acrylic shower system featuring a clean white shower pan and travertine wall panels etched in a Roman Block design.
Matching travertine corner shelves were added to provide convenient storage for soaps and other shower essentials. The coordinated shelving keeps everything within reach while complementing the surrounding wall design.
Brushed Nickel Fixtures & Folding Bench Seat
The homeowners selected brushed nickel fixtures to complete the shower. The new setup includes a Gabrielly trim kit, rain shower head, handheld shower on a slider bar, grab bar, and matching brushed nickel shower door.
To add even more comfort and functionality, we installed a folding bench seat with a silver frame and beige composite seating. The fold-down design provides a convenient place to sit without permanently taking up valuable shower space.
A Fresh, Functional Shower Upgrade
This Radford bathroom now has a completely updated shower with a combination of timeless finishes and practical features. The Roman Block travertine walls, matching corner shelves, brushed nickel fixtures, and folding bench seat create a clean, comfortable space built for everyday use.

The renovation also included new flooring and white toilet, pedestal sink, and medicine cabinet, creating a clean, updated bathroom.
