The new shower showcases sleek Galena acrylic wall surrounds that create a smooth, uninterrupted backdrop. These durable, grout-free panels are engineered to resist moisture buildup and staining, helping the space stay cleaner with less maintenance. Their subtle texture and neutral tone establish a calm, contemporary foundation that pairs effortlessly with the rest of the bathroom’s finishes.
Built-in storage was approached with simplicity in mind. A crisp white recessed niche keeps shower essentials within reach while preserving the clean lines of the enclosure, eliminating the need for bulky racks or shelves.
Premium Fixtures for Everyday Performance
To elevate both function and style, brushed nickel fixtures were selected throughout the space. A Delta 17 trim system allows for precise temperature control and consistent water pressure, creating a comfortable and dependable showering experience. The primary showerhead is complemented by a handheld sprayer mounted on an adjustable slide bar, connected by a diverter for seamless switching between options. Bath Planet SWVA recently completed a Radford, VA bathroom renovation, transforming an outdated and congested layout with a cramped stall shower into a more open, functional, and accessible space. The project included removing a wall and reconfiguring the bathroom to accommodate a spacious 60-inch walk-in shower featuring smooth white acrylic walls, corner shelves, a window trim kit, white folding bench seat, and solid surface shower pan. Brushed nickel fixtures include a rain shower head, trim kit, handheld shower on a slider bar, grab bars, and a clear glass Euro slider door. The complete renovation also includes a new toilet, new flooring, and finished walls ready for paint.
