This Shower Remodel with Matte Black Fixtures in Christiansburg, VA focused on transforming a basic shower space into something far more functional and visually striking. The new system blends comfort, accessibility, and modern style for a shower that performs beautifully and looks even better.
Functional Accessories That Enhance Everyday Use
Matte Black Fixtures Add Modern Contrast
The brushed finishes of the past were swapped for sleek matte black hardware throughout this bathroom remodel. From the Delta 17 valve to the standard and handheld shower heads, each fixture brings bold definition to the space. Paired with Othello style Fairfield wall panels and a bright white shower base, the matte black details stand out with clean lines and modern appeal. The end result is a space that feels current, intentional, and far from ordinary.
Safety Features for Peace of Mind
To make this shower safer without compromising design, we installed two matte black grab bars, one 18″ and one 24″, strategically placed for support. These bars help prevent slips and offer extra stability, especially helpful for aging homeowners or anyone recovering from injury. We also added a Euro-style sliding glass door with inside and outside bars, giving users something secure to hold when stepping in or out of the shower. Together, these features add subtle but important layers of safety.
