This Standard Tub System installation in Blacksburg, VA gave the homeowners a comfortable and updated tub and shower combination that works for everyday use. Blacksburg families appreciate practical bathrooms that still feel inviting, so this project focused on a bright white tub, upgraded fixtures, and a layout that feels open and functional without changing the existing footprint.
Comfortable Winged Spray foam Tub in White
First, we installed a winged spray foam tub in a classic white finish. The tub measures 59.5 by 29.5 with a left hand drain, which fits neatly into a standard alcove. The winged design provides added support along the edges, so the tub feels more secure and comfortable to step into and out of each day.
Because the tub is insulated with spray foam, it helps bath water stay warmer for longer periods. This feature is especially nice on cooler Blacksburg evenings when a relaxing soak is part of the routine. The smooth white surface brightens the room and coordinates easily with many tile, flooring, and paint choices.
Delta 17 Tub and Shower Fixtures in Brushed Nickel
Next, we installed a Delta 17 Standard Shower Head and Valve designed for a tub and shower combination. The homeowners selected a Brushed Nickel finish, which adds a soft, modern touch to the space. The Delta 17 valve offers better control over water temperature and volume, so it becomes easier to find a comfortable setting and keep it consistent.
In addition, the Brushed Nickel finish tends to show fewer fingerprints and water spots than some polished finishes. This benefit helps the fixtures look clean and well kept between regular wipe downs and supports a neat, finished look around the tub.
Delta 17 Shower Fixtures in Brushed Nickel
To complete the upgrade, we installed a Delta 17 Standard Shower Head and Valve in a Brushed Nickel finish. This fixture combination allows better control over both temperature and water volume, which helps the homeowners fine tune their shower experience for comfort and consistency.
The Brushed Nickel finish pairs beautifully with the Madeira Granite Fairfield pattern. It provides a soft, modern accent that coordinates easily with other bathroom hardware and accessories.
Gabrylly Rain Shower Head With Handheld and Slider Bar
To provide more flexibility, we added a Gabrylly rain shower head with a handheld sprayer and slider bar, also in Brushed Nickel. The rain head creates a relaxing overhead spray that feels more like a spa style shower. At the same time, the handheld feature makes it easier to rinse hair, clean the tub, or help children and pets during bath time. The slider bar lets the handheld shower be adjusted to different heights. This is especially helpful for households with people of various ages and mobility levels. As a result, the shower feels more personalized without making the system complicated to use.
