Bath Planet SW Virginia recently completed a stunning shower-to-tub conversion in Lexington, VA, providing the homeowner with a modern and functional bathroom upgrade. The goal was to replace the outdated shower with a sleek, efficient tub system that offers both style and durability, while maintaining a high level of comfort.
A Seamless Upgrade
We began by removing the old bathtub and replacing it with a 59.5 x 35.5 White Tub – Left Hand Drain (LHD) model. The tub was paired with a 3-wall system in Pompeii Marble, specifically chosen in the Fairfield pattern for a clean and elegant look. The walls were installed to the ceiling for a polished finish, creating a spacious feel in the bathroom. For added convenience and style, we included a Delta 17 Standard Shower Head & Valve with an ORB (Oil-Rubbed Bronze) finish, ensuring a high-quality, sleek showering experience. We also added a white, horizontal niche for extra storage and a curved shower rod in ORB to complement the tub’s elegant look. To enhance functionality, two acrylic single-tier shelves were installed, providing ample space for toiletries and other essentials.
