Bath Planet of SW Virginia is owned by Travis and Priscilla Van Valkenburg, who are from this area and still live here.  Combined, they have well over two decades of bathroom remodeling experience.  They perform a large part of the designing and estimating themselves, so they’re very much “hands-on” owners.

Quality Materials Backed by Unprecedented Warranties and Guarantees

A lot of smaller contractors purchase their acrylic walls from big box stores, while Bath Planet gets theirs from Bath Concepts, a very reputable bathroom remodelling supplier. While the big box acrylic is good, it doesn’t compare to our commercial grade materials.  When compared side-by-side, the big box acrylic doesn’t appear to be as thick and sturdy as Bath Planet’s.

All Bath Concepts’ acrylic comes with a limited life-time warranty, as well as the Good Housekeeping Seal.  This means their products have passed rigorous testing by the independent Good Housekeeping Institute, which includes an additional two-year limited warranty.

Bath Planet of SW Virginia has multiple bathroom installers, which allows us to get to more remodels faster.  Smaller remodelers sometimes only have one installer who can easily become overwhelmed, making delays more likely.  Injuries, illness, and staffing issues can also delay the process.
