We began this project by installing a smooth white shower pan (58.5” x 31” right-hand drain) along with a three-wall white surround system. The crisp, clean white design gave the bathroom an updated look that feels both timeless and versatile. To improve safety, we included three oil-rubbed bronze grab bars — two 12-inch and one 36-inch — strategically placed for extra stability and support. These bars provide added confidence for anyone entering or exiting the shower, while the oil-rubbed bronze finish adds a touch of warmth and style to the overall design. For convenience, we installed four acrylic single-tier shelves, giving the family plenty of storage space for soaps, shampoos, and other daily essentials. These shelves are durable, easy to clean, and perfectly positioned to keep everything within reach.

The highlight of this installation was the addition of custom water controls, thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind. The homeowner requested an on/off handle placed next to the folding seat, allowing their mother to operate the shower comfortably while seated. Paired with a Delta 17 valve and standard shower head, these features give the shower a modern performance system that balances simplicity with convenience.
